Coaching psychology aims to generate ideas, expand skills, enhance quality of life and boost performance and well-being.  We use solution-focused and results oriented approaches to improve self-regulation, goal setting and achievement through a self-directed learning process to empower you to achieve beneficial and measurable results in many areas of life including personal growth and career.

How is it different to counselling / psychotherapy?
Coaching is undertaken with individuals who do not have clinically significant mental health issues or levels of distress (Australian Psychological Society, 2003).

Employee Assistance Counselling
Counselling Employee Assistance Counselling is counselling service which is supported by a client’s employer.  Employee Assistance Counselling enables staff to confidentially access short term, professional counselling to assist with the resolution of work or personal related concerns that may be impacting on their work performance or general quality of life. Whilst many employers endeavour to support staff who are experiencing difficulties at work or home, these difficulties may be better dealt with by an experienced mental health practitioner.  Counselling provided by a professional who is external to the organisation and who also has an appreciation of workplace needs can assist staff to implement effective strategies for improving their wellbeing at work and home.  If you wish to arrange Employee Assistance Counselling for staff at your organisation, please contact our office on 9456 0411.
