Zoe is a Psychologist registered with the Psychologists Board of WA and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Zoe has worked as a Psychologist in the private, government and non-profit sectors. She established Amherst Psychology & Counselling in 2005 and is committed to providing counselling to help individuals and couples improve their wellbeing. Zoe is experienced in the application of various therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy, the emotional freedom technique, and solution focused therapy. Zoe is an accredited instructor in the 1 2 3 Magic parenting program and she also has a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment.
Laura Hann BA (Psych), Grad Dip Ed (Psych), Grad Dip (Systemic Family Therapy)
Laura is a Psychologist registered with the Psychologists Board of WA and is a registered provider with Medicare. She has completed post graduate study in family therapy and has worked as a Counsellor and Psychologist in both the government and non-government sectors in Australia and England. Laura has experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She uses a variety of models in her work including systemic, solution focused, acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and narrative approaches.
Catherine Parker B.Sc.(Psych) Post Grad.Dip.(Psych)
Catherine is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychologists Board of WA and a registered provider with Medicare. She has worked in the private sector and government and has a special interest in assisting clients to improve their health and well-being, particular in relation to self-care and managing anxiety and depression. She is also very experienced in providing career counselling and facilitating goal setting in life and work. She uses cognitive behavioural and solution focused therapies, as well as motivational interviewing and coaching techniques to assist clients identify their goals and implement change behaviours.
Claire Brandis, BPsych
Claire is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychologists Board of WA and is a registered provider with Medicare. Claire has worked in counselling roles within the private sector for several years, providing psychological counselling and vocational assessment services. Claire works with adult clients and has a particular interest in working with people experiencing depression, anxiety or self esteem issues, and also with people seeking career guidance. She employs a number of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural and solution focussed therapies to assist clients in improving their wellbeing. Claire has experience providing counselling for a wide range of concerns and enjoys assisting clients to identify and progress toward their goals.
Marieke Ledingham BSc (Psych), Post Grad Dip (Psych) , M. Counselling
Marieke is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychologists Board of WA. She has a Master of Counselling degree and has worked in a variety of counselling and training settings in Australia and Ireland . Marieke has experience working with adolescents, the elderly, adults and groups. She provides counselling for a range of difficulties including relationship and marital issues, anger, anxiety and depression, self-esteem, confidence, personal development, PTSD and family-of-origin issues. Marieke uses a variety of approaches depending on the needs of the client, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
Andrew Mitchell, BPsych
Andrew is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychologists Board of WA and is a registered provider with Medicare. With over 10 years of experience in the Government and private sectors, Andrew has worked with a wide variety of clients, in particular with individuals going through significant life changes. He is experienced in supporting clients with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, work related stress, and adjustment issues. Andrew uses a varied therapeutic approach with an emphasis on solution focussed outcomes. Andrew is a member of the Australian Society of Hypnosis and can integrate hypnosis into general therapy as well as offer targeted hypnosis programs to assist clients with issues such as smoking cessation, anxiety, birth preparation and weight loss.
Lauren Hancock BPsych, MPsych (Counselling), MAPS
Lauren is a Registered Psychologist and a recognised provider with Medicare Australia. Lauren has completed a Masters of Psychology (Counselling) degree and is an Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Lauren has previously worked in a variety medical and non-medical settings. She works with adults, adolescents, and couples with a range of mental health issues, but particularly specialises in problem gambling, masculinity, and Thought Field Therapy. Lauren uses a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Schema Therapy, Thought Field Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
Selvina Bustelo BSc (Psych), PGradDip (Psych), MPsych (Counselling)
Selvina is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychologists Board of WA and a recognised provider with Medicare Australia. She has a Master of Psychology (Counselling) degree and has worked with clients in a variety of settings, including private and not-for-profit services. Selvina has experience providing counselling to adults and couples for a range of difficulties including work related problems, relationship issues, depression, anxiety and trauma. Selvina uses a variety of approaches to help clients achieve positive changes.
